“Dirty Politics” Rachel Glucina Is Behind Nicola Willis PM Rumours

This morning reports appeared on Stuff and The Post that some members of The New Zealand Society in London saw Nicola Willis as “the next Prime Minister of New Zealand”.
The source of those rumours was reportedly an “Auckland journalist” called Rachel Glucina. That was all the media mentioned.
But it appears the story goes much deeper than that.
Rachel Glucina is a familiar face on the National Party politics and media circuit. Right now, she’s the President of the New Zealand Society.
She is also previously named in a John Key dirty politics type story, which involved allegations that she had misrepresented herself as a PR advisor to get close to a John Key critic.
The Guardian covered this story at the time. And I quote:
Screenshots taken of the Herald website by Twitter users appear to show the statement had been revised at least four times since it was published, including one revision that appears to retract the statement that Glucina did not misrepresent herself.
Shayne Currie and Rachel Glucina have been contacted for comment. Attempts to contact Amanda Bailey were unsuccessful.
It will be interesting to see which version of events is confirmed, if that ever occurs.
Last year, Rachel Glucina was among several journalists implicated in Nicky Hager’s book Dirty Politics, which alleged senior government officials were executing smear campaigns against opponents with the help of media. Hager said he tried to avoid shaming journalists in the book, with the exception of Glucina, whom he described as “despicable”.
Yes, Hager did not want to shame journalists with the except of Glucina, whom he described as “despicable”
So the questions are:
- Why is Glucina dropping these ideas?
- Why does Key always feel involved from NCEA, to Crimson Circle, to Q&A Jamie Beaton coverage, to now this? Is it just all a coincidence?
- Why did media not mention her background?
The Nat’s Hollowmen and Dirty Politics lot never really retire it seems. Glucina tried to run interference for sirkey re his Parnell cafe pony pulling and was well caught out.
Could John Key be eyeing a party seat replacement before the next election and taking over as PM?
Been there, done that.
And I think even HE wouldn't give much for Max Keys chances…
I think it’ll be great for the Coalition if Nicola takes over the helm of the shambolic ship and rams NZ onto the rocks to sink us faster and deeper.
She will off-set the male patriarchy of Peters, Jones, and Seymour and the rest of the boys-zone that’s currently running amok in government.
Her costumes will brighten up the photo ops and we won’t have to stare at Luxon’s bald spot any longer.
Willis will be delighted with being promoted by the sewer queen in the knowledge that she’ll have the backing of the dirty directors behind the dark curtain of NZ RW politics.
Bring it on!
I reckon she'll gaurentee a one term government.
She's a car wreak of a politician.
luxon and willis where both hand picked by key, key would never promote an equal, here he has picked a couple of middle management types completely unfit for serious leadership.

Glucina will wreak a one-term government….the COC is a car wreck.
With everything they touch becoming embarrassing do they need a Leadership change to distract from the failures?? But!! None of the women are Jacinda ! Bishop is a proven poster boy for tobacco, Not one of the other men is suitable, and the women are a mean or bitter bunch.imo The thing is, if you promote Individualism you don’t get a team or loyalty, and if they think their ship is going down, watch the rush for the lifeboats.
Will the collective consciousness have woken up enough by election time to the damage these vandals have already inflicted and that the only solution is to vote them out?
Plus, the voter disenfranchisement happening over enrolment periods needs a public campaign.
My partner has a mate, retired registered Nurse, she is ready to vote CoC out of being disgusted with new trainees not having work to go to. In “her day” new entrants were valued. Hopefully public sector sackings, Pay Equity, Food Bank funding cuts etc. will encourage many more.

If Nicky Hager who doesn't usually get that personal, describes Glucina as ' despicable, that's enough for me. Anyone Glucina recommends would be suitable to run the mini mafia that we have at present.
Its time Hager wrote another book
