US President Donald Trump said his plan for ending the war in Gaza was potentially one of the greatest days in the history of civilisation, and one that could bring "eternal peace in the Middle East".

The hyperbole was characteristic. However, the substance of this 20-point proposal, revealed at the White House on Monday as Trump met the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is still a significant diplomatic moment – if not quite matching his exotic overstatement.

It appears that Hamas will demur. Thus allowing the IDF to continue in Gaza City.

Thus aid getting into Gaza is the thing to focus on.

Including Drs, nurses, teachers, principals, firefighters and others.

Some thoughts as to why they are striking…

yes We should all carry MT's graph, showing the underspend in Health.

Lowest Health spend in 40 years

Education "We don't know what we will be teaching… it is under wraps"

1% rise offered when food rose 5% in the quarter.

      But …Directors got an 80% rise…

That assumes the companies will survive this CoC.

That list is a great start. That's without considering their actions against our caramel cousins.

The word is there is a day of solidarity between the Iwi Chairs Forum and NZCTU in October.

It would be good for the citizens to experience some push back.
