More great news from the provinces.

A school with merely 180 students is competing against the big guns this week.

Meanwhile Feilding Ag, a co-ed school, is into the Top 4 First XV competition. Friday they face Westlake Boys. Rotorua play Southland Boys in the other semi. Final on Sunday.

That's an interesting and inspiring article. Manukura is a special character school: a state school, and very much preferable to charter schools. Manukura focuses on sport and culture, as well as academic work. The culture part is focused on Te Tiriti and te reo.

Manukura definitely is inspiring. The Durie's are good people.

It is interesting the hoo-haa about charter schools, the schools could be character schools but that would mean forgoing excess profits.
